Hello! Thank you for stopping by my site. I wanted to briefly share a few things about me.
My passion is to reduce the negative stigma around mobile technology use by older adults through rewarding encounters designed to share knowledge, increase confidence and improve the quality of everyday life.
In 2019, I founded Students 4 Boomers, an intergenerational community service program, to facilitate vital online connections during the COVID pandemic. Today moderate in-person and hybrid help sessions between high school students seeking community service credit and older adults wanting to improve their digital fluency on computers, tablets, smartphones and assistive devices.
In 2016, I began working with local libraries and independent living communities as a digital literacy teacher helping older adults become more fluent with mobile technology. I offer programs and individual one-on-one sessions in a variety of ways to accommodate the unique needs of these important living and learning centers.
In 2010, I established Hear Say, an independent consultancy, creating online content for purpose-driven small businesses and non-profits. Along with producing content, I provide workshops for clients who need to curate their own content libraries.
I began my career in consumer advertising working for integrated marketing agencies in Chicago, NYC, Atlanta and Dallas. During this time I was also the owner of Shelter Treats, an organic small-batch dog treat company, dedicated to supporting local animal rescues.
